Often we start training with the best of intentions but hit a wall. This is hard to break through without the right training & coaching advice.
The emphasis on this cycling holiday is training, and the relaxed atmosphere of Mallorca is the perfect place to do it. During your stay you will train and learn to master techniques in the following: cornering, braking, gear use, group riding skills, hill climbing techniques, bike safety and coordination.
All these techniques combine to help you reach the next level in cycling, and in turn, help you get the most out of the sport. This will inspire you to break through the barrier and reach your next level in cycling. Training with cycling experts will help you develop your potential.
To help further your cycling abilities, our cycling training camp operates a group system with up to 5 different group levels, depending on the number of riders in the week. Here, we place you with cyclists of similar abilities. This ensures you are not stretched too far or held back. Combine this with your Alcudia based location perfect for warm up and warm down rides, and you have the perfect environment to improve.
Your training camp includes five structured rides/week designed to build your cycling skills. They take place Sunday to Friday; Wednesday is a rest day. Saturday is the regular change-over day although we are flexible and shall fit in with your schedule as much as possible.
We ride together, we eat together, and camaraderie forms. Our guests tell us they make new long lasting friendships on our tours. If you are wondering if you can enjoy the training if you’re travelling alone, the answer is yes.
Mallorca (also spelt Majorca) is blessed with endless smooth roads. This ‘paradise for cyclists’ offers challenging climbs, thrilling descents, hairpin bends, and smooth flat country lanes. The island is cycling friendly and you will meet plenty on two wheels whether it’s on a hairpin bend or enjoying a coffee after a challenging climb.
With gems such as Sa Calobra the mountain Sir Bradley Wiggins used to train for the 2012 Olympics, and Puig Major, the highest reachable point on Mallorca, this mountain range simply has to be ridden and explored. It offers challenge, beauty, and spectacular views. It is one of the reasons Team SKY and other pro-peloton groups train here.
After a day on the road why not wind down with a relaxing sports massage? Or go for a spa or a swim in one of the three hotel pools? Let’s not forget the after-ride walk on the beach.
When you’re not training, why not walk on a beautiful golden beach, where you will be greeted by the sea air and breeze. The blue sea stretches as far as your eye can see. You will also be in the heart of Mallorca’s shopping and nightlife districts.

Testimonials
Wow what a week!
I thought I could ride but I have to say Martin has changed my riding in so many ways . The Professionalism yet fun was more than I expected and the people on the trip were of same opinion.
So thanks to you and your Team for a great week.

Wow - what an experience! I have to admit to being slightly nervous before my arrival.
Was I going to arrive to find a group indie hard, ninja cyclists, that would leave me for dust every day? In fact Martin, Derek and Alfonso split the groups perfectly - enough of a challenge, but still fun.
The routes were brilliant, the guides' knowledge excellent. The bikes for hire were great and looked after perfectly by Stephen the Sport Active mechanic.
Behind the scenes (and on as many rides as the emails would allow), Flora provided all the information needed, steering us to the locations needed, providing post-ride stretching (a must to prevent seizing up) and effectively hostess for the week.
All in all, I have come away wanting another week soon. Oh and did I mention cycling with the legend that is Sean Kelly? I cannot recommend Sport Active and a Mallorca cycling week enough.
