SportActive can supply you a bike, in conjunction with VELO SPORT TEAM Mallorca, our new bike hire partner.
Due to the huge demand of high quality hire bike in Majorca in spring we strongly recommend that you book your bike at the time of booking your holiday. All bikes booked before the end of January will be guaranteed the prices below. Bikes booked after this date may be subject to an additional charge as we may need to acquire bikes from third party suppliers. Please ensure that you have filled in your normal frame size and your body height on the booking form in order to ensure we have everything correct for you at the time of collection.
The bike rent has to be paid in full with the booking.

You will only find bikes like these in VELO SPORT TEAM Mallorca's rental station on Mallorca. These unique bikes we buy second hand from Pro-Cycling-Teams or from people who change their High End Racer almost every year.
Frame full carbon, Shimano Dura Ace 10 speed groupset and compact drive chainset 50/34 and a 12/27 and 10 speed cassette.

On request, we offer also trekking bikes and mountain bikes.
- All the bikes are rented without pedals (bar the trekking bikes)
- pedals need to be rented separately - fee 10 €
- all the hire bikes are supplied with the following accessories: computer, saddle bag (tire leavers & tube), pump and 2 bottle cages)
- the most important information to determine the height of your frame, i.e. the frame size is your body height. Frame sizes are available for people from 145 cm (frame 47) to 200 cm (frame 63), in 2 cm steps.
- There is no insurance for theft: the hirer is fully responsible

Hello folks,
My name is Johannes Schernikau, but everybody here in Majorca calls me "Hannes". I raced competitively in Germany for 10 years as a successful amateur cyclist and I was lucky enough to be able to turn Pro. Unfortunately however Mother Nature only gave me a small engine and I gave up the pro-sport after 2 years. I ended up in the cycling paradise Majorca where I met my German wife Doris and together we created "The Velo Sport Team Mallorca" in 1994.
This partnership with SportActive in 2008 is a successful result of our 14 years activity as bike holiday organisation and Rental Company.
We look forward to welcoming you in Majorca in 2008.
